We believe that life long learning of the self is a missing component of our American Dream, a vision focused on outputs and accolades. With these driving forces, our societies have put their personal development and community engagement on the back burner to achieve ideals they might not even want, often don’t need and at the expense of others around the world and their well being.
We are shifting to a new way of being in the world with the introduction of the internet. Podcasts, digital text books, courses and trainings galore, all available at the press of a button. With aligned intention and understood purpose, we believe we can change our outdated education systems to serve learning in a multi dimensional way.
It is our commitment to put quality education at the center of all institutions and lead from a place of evolving conversations to create proactive environments.
We can no longer sit back and watch the Earth we reside on and the people who inhabit it con one another and teach fallacies. We can no longer cut corners to increase profits once we become aware of the incoming generations that are at stake.
Sister Roots values life long learning within engaged community as a top priority.
Here we will share with you books we are reading, talks we are listening to and hard conversations we are having. It is our hope that everyone activates a curiosity from the inside out, to stay present in their lives as they grow and change.
